"The aquaponics system was used by the ESP Research Methods course in the Fall of 2017. It supported three teams of student researchers who explore nutrient limitation in plants, fish growth and behavior, and energy and water inputs. The class produced over 5 pounds of swiss chard and 9 pounds of cilantro, three excellent research projects, and a whole lot of students excited about aquaponics.
